What does Chan-Kah mean?
Coming from the Maya and means "Small Village". This concept was the one that gave rise to the entrepreneurial vision of Mr. Roberto Romano Huerta and Mrs. Magali Garrido Zubieta, who in 1971, founded what we now know as the Chan-Kah Resort Village Convention Center and Maya Spa.
Chan-Kah Resort Village Convention Center and Maya Spa over the years has positioned itself as one of the most important tourist developments in the state of Chiapas, its unique feature is that it is surrounded by tropical vegetation of the Palenque jungle, the Michol River that runs through the entire property and wildlife that we can find in the hotel, are just some of the attractions offered to its guests. Palenque is an outstanding site full of beauty and magical mystery located on the northern part of the southeastern state of Chiapas in Mexico.
